After I installed updates and rebooted my mouse pointer vanished [ but the action of the mouse still work] and after rebooting again my mouse pointer returned. I must have clicked on the icon and removed it trying to fix my pointer. I can still control the volume etc with my buttons on the laptop.
Kmix seems to not want to load I click on it it tries to load but does not I know pulse audio is installed is that the default audio system in Kubuntu now? I issues is is the icon kmix or is it pulse audio? I tried to get it back by using the widgets on the panel and there are none listed. how can I get it back? Need to lock the widgets in the future.
