How to undo "Add to Panel" for a desktop item ?

    Hi,

In KDE desktop, Is an "Add to panel" action for a launcher item undoable ?

I now have two icons in the bottom panel right next to the system tray (perhaps inside the system tray, no way to tell) and I don't want them there. How can I get rid of them ?

No, you can remove the launcher icons from the panel. However, the method to do that varies a bit with the version of KDE used (there were a few steps added to prevent accidental removal of panel widgets).

Since you didn't specify which version of KDE you are using, try this:
    1. Unlock widgets (if unlocked)
    2. Open the panel configuration bar (click the plasma icon that appears on the right end of the panel when widgets are unlocked)
    3. While the panel bar is open, you can remove/move widgets from the panel (inluding the icons you added) by either right-clicking on the widget > choosing remove from the menu...or click the "x" icon on the tooltip when hovering over the widget.

      Thanks, that did it.

I must say the process is extremely counterintuitive for a GUI.
