No one solved this issue yet? I'm encountering the same problem.

The full outpout from do-release-upgrade command is included in the attached file.
    But here is the beginning:

Upgrades went good on two computers. No problems. Have faster shutdown on the desktop after the upgrade.

We have to remind ourselves that the various mirrors also need to update before they can supply the new software.
Over the past two months I've sometimes seen more than 24 hrs lag on some mirrors compared to the main server.

It is good practice after every failure to upgrade to do a full apt-get update and apt-get dist-upgrade before trying again.

My desktop upgrade from 13.10 (64bit) went very well. After 'testing' all my applications, the only thing I found buggy is Muon Discover; for instance try configuring the toolbar by adding items.
I don't think I will use it as I am a synaptic addict. The Muon Package Manager is also good to me.

This used to be an option, and it was immensely useful, especially because I've often had upgrade issues with Kubuntu. Why'd they get rid of it?

Today at work I get a message that new Kubuntu is to download, but when I am upgrading, I am getting this:

I have also another ppa's added, I have disabled them and the problem still exists.

With do-release-upgrade I am getting this:
An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade.

    This can be caused by:
    * Upgrading to a pre-release version of Ubuntu
    * Running the current pre-release version of Ubuntu
    * Unofficial software packages not provided by Ubuntu

Changing to another country - didn't solve my problem.

I am getting the same message, and it has changed my repos to Trusty (source.list), but I have restored Saucy source.list. There is no option to upgrade it from DVD? I can't find it? Is it after choosing a partition to install?

maybe it is only in some servers, there are quite a huge number of them, all getting hammered right now, i am sure.

I am in the middle of upgrading via "do-release-upgrade -d "as I type.
