    baloo vs baloo4 vs baloo_4 vs baloo4_4

    With this mornings update comes a conflict between the "new to be installed" package baloo4 and the "existing to be upgraded" package baloo:

    Try to update - there is a new version: 4:4.13.97-0ubuntu1~ubuntu14.04~ppa6




    The baloo4 should replace the baloo - the baloo is a transitional package for baloo4.

        Surely something due to not all packages having made it to your mirror yet. Happens to me each time a big (multi-package) update is pushed. Apparently the apt designers didn't foresee a kind of index file (pushed ahead of the packages) that'd have allowed clients to know when an update is available in full.

          At least Muon gives you the opportunity to check the status of the packages before committing the update.
