after a very positive experience with Kubuntu 12.04 I've upgraded to a fresh installation of Kubuntu 14.04 on the same machine, but now I'm experiencing some problems that were not present in the previous release. Two of them are:
when I connect the external projector this is no longer auto detect, and I have to run Nvidia-settings > detect display
which is somewhat trivial. More serious is the second issue:
the video played by the projector (on line streaming) is affected by tearing, with Kubuntu 12.04 it used to be fine.
Can someone help me?
