Problem : When the device is plugged into an USB port after the machine is started, everything works fine. When the device is plugged into an USB port at startup, it becomes inoperative after a few seconds. In that case, unplugging and re-inserting it doesn't help, the machine has to be rebooted.
Is something loaded too early in the startup sequence ?
