    buggy behaviour: chrome, flash player, plugging in USB DAC

    Hello,

    Recently I updated my 14.04, and chrome stopped playing flash content under specific conditions. When I plug in an Fiio e7 DAC (used as external sound card), everything works fine. However, when I plug in a Fiio X5 DAC, flash immediately crashes, and so does chrome.

    Any suggestions how to fix the problem?

    tanakas.

    Some more information about my system:

    Code:
    $ lsb_release -a

    Code:
    $ kate --version

    Chrome:

    Version 44.0.2403.39 beta (64-bit)
    (also google-chrome-stable does not work, nor firefox)

    Disabled pepper in chrome:

    Adobe Flash Player - Version: 18.0.0.160 (Disabled)
    Shockwave Flash 18.0 r0
    Name: Shockwave Flash
    Description: Shockwave Flash 18.0 r0
    Version: 18.0.0.160
    Location: /opt/google/chrome-beta/PepperFlash/libpepflashplayer.so
    Type: PPAPI (out-of-process)

    Not sure, but probably this one is used:

    File: libflashplayer.so
    Path: /usr/lib/flashplugin-installer/libflashplayer.so
    Version: 11.2.202.466
    State: Enabled
    Shockwave Flash 11.2 r202
