Wireless keyb, can't get to BIOS

Not a 14.04 thing, but anyway. I've been using wireless Logitech for a while now, and only occasionally been able to go to BIOS with delete. Now it's no go at all. Does wireless wake up so late, that it's impossible? Wired keyb the only way?

I have the same problem with my wireless Logitech. I have found that on some motherboards it would work sometimes if the reciever was plugged into one of the first usb2 ports but not always. It never works with the pc I use it with now so I have an extra usb keyboard that I use if I want to get into the bios.

Yeah, I got the receiver at mobo USB as well. Also I just a while ago got a bluetooth keyb. Lol. Never tried it yet. Has anyone got a bluetooth keyb?

Lended a wired keyb from big son of mine , and voilá. BIOS ok. I'm going to get a good wired new keyb, and let the mouse be the only one to be wireless.

I am using a Apple Bluetooth keyboard and a Logitech KB 180.
The Apple kb can be a bit temperamental with KDE, but works perfectly with the likes of Xubuntu and Elementary.
The Logitech is a very nice kb but will not work with Bluedevil and to get it to work i had to install the Gnome Bluetooth Manager.
Even then, it will not connect automatically and has to be done once you got the DE up and running. That's ok, but it means that you cannot log in with it, and have to have a automatic login.
The Apple on the other hand, will connect at the login screen (most of the time!).
But neither will work during boot up so if you are multi booting, you're out of luck unless like me, you use a laptop and use the built in kb.
The only reason i am using a BT kb is because the appalling lack of USB ports on the Toshiba which is tucked away behind my monitors

For me it is nice but I think I would go with the brown switch as the blue ones can be kinda loud.

Nice one too. All I was after was illumination and wire. All else is a plus.
