It used to work correctly. I didn't notice when it happened. One of the updates apparently introduced a bug where upon boot or reboot Linux says my audio output is analogy output but I have to switch it to Headphone output or there is no audio. No matter whether I use the front or back ports. How do I fix this?

Audio output setup is wrong Just to remind users and devs that Ubuntu and its flavors have a long way to go to be as usr friendly as they should be. Just to remind users and devs that Ubuntu and its flavors have a long way to go to be as usr friendly as they should be.
