    Keyboard not working

    Hi

I have installed 14.04 on a Dell Precision 7400. All work fine except the PS2 keyboard. It works on BIOS or during the installation, but not after it reaches desktop. A USB keyboard works fine.
I'm using a KVM to work with 3 more PC's, so I really need the PS2 keyboard.
Yesterday it was working, then I don't know why it failed. I thought it could be BIOS, so I upgraded it from 04 to 11 version and it started to work. I thought: problem solved.
But after a reboot to add another HDD, it failed again..

Any hints/ideas how to solve this?

    Thanks

PS2 is not really designed to be hot-plugable so I could imagine the system has to be booted with the keyboard (via KVM?) connected to be able to use it.

      Hi

Yeah, I know. But I have tried to fully boot with KVM connected and it does the same.
Now, at some point, it starts to work. Don't know if it's because I swap from pc to pc, and the system can finally identify the keyboard...
      Weird....
