    I solved it. I opened dolphin with the sudo command, selected the drive/partition, right clicked the file list, selected properties, selected the permissions tab and changed user and group to my user name, I don't know why I didn't think of that in the first place.

    humm you would think that they would be rw then ....... maby they are root owned ,,,,if so you will half to make a directory in the partition and change ownership and or group to you .

    New partion for Steam Library

    I just added a used SATA HD to my computer. I used KDE Partition Manager to create two partitions, Steam for Windows and Steam for Linux. When I try to set up an additional library for Steam for Linux it says its mounted as read only! How do I get it to let me use the partition for games?
