Gwenview doesn't clear process after closing the app

I'd suggest filing a bug report on bugs.kde.org as it would attract more eyeballs there, and this sort of bug does not seem to be a distro-specific one. The Launchpad bug can also be linked to the KDE bug from launchpad if needed.
