Hi, I just move from Ubuntu to Kubuntu and I can't find where to install language input (IBus) in Kubuntu. Searching on Google and find out it used to have, but not now. Why? How can I install new language input?

Hi Ooker
Ive never installed Vietnamese, but this should work.
The problem with language input in 13.10 was a few missing dependencies. So, first make sure you have these packages installed: ibus, ibus-qt4, ibus-unikey, libibus-qt1, gir1.2-ibus-1.0, ibus-gtk, ibus-gtk3, libibus-1.0-5, gir1.2-gtk-3.0, language-pack-vi, language-pack-gnome-vi
You should then be able to open the ibus settings menu and set up the options you want.Code:sudo apt-get install ibus ibus-qt4 ibus-unikey libibus-qt1 gir1.2-ibus-1.0 ibus-gtk ibus-gtk3 libibus-1.0-5 gir1.2-gtk-3.0 language-pack-vi language-pack-gnome-vi
Go to the Input Method Tab and select Unikey if it isnt already selected. Set the shortcut you want. You may have to reboot to get the settings to take effect. Hopefully this will give you Vietnamese.Code:ibus-setup
