I was trying to hit Meta+D, the command I have assigned to minimize all tasks. Now somehow my desktop has reverted to the default wallpaper and all my icons are gone. I know what you're thinking: Meta+Tab. That's worked on other days, but not now. Meta+Tab does nothing. I thought I accidentally hit Meta+S, but hitting that doesn't bring anything back. Frustrating. I don't know why it all of a sudden did this.
Update: Never mind. I figured it out. Somehow the desktop got set to "default". As soon as I set it back to "folder" everything came back. (Right click on desktop, choose folder settings.) I'm not sure how I accidentally set it back to default, but I'm glad this fixed it.
