    Installed Compiz, now have issues

I recently tried to install compiz to replace kwin as my window manager. After realizing compiz is glitchy, crashy, and freezy, I decided to switch back to kwin.

I have a problem though. My workspaces are completely messed up. When I add workspaces they are just black screens with a mouse. No dock, no widgets, no wallpaper. Also, a slightly minor problem, when I change my mouse icon, its the old one for some applications and the new one for others :/

    help please?
