Failed to successfully test the splash screen - ksplashqml errors

I have made a modification to a ksplashqml splash screen. When I execute it in the system settings I get the following error, Failed to successfully test the splash screen . I modified it in qt creator. It runs ok in qt creater with zero errors. Where do I view the errors generated when I run it in system settings? Thanks.

Is your theme running from the konsole ?:

ksplashqml <Theme_name> --test
