Amarok 2.7.0 won't remember my Collection

Anyone having issues with Amarok 2.7.0? Specifically, it won't remember my collection. Every time I start it, the collection is empty and I need to do a full rescan (which takes ages).
I have a music folder on one drive, and it's selected in Settings-> Configure Amarok->Configure Local Collection
Scan folders recursively and Watch folders for changes are ticked.
Every time I shut it down, when I come back to it later the collection is empty again.

I'm using an external MySQL database, which is set up correctly using the correct user/passwd combination (I can log in with those credentials in MySQL).

Whatever drive+directory your music is in, it has to be mounted before you open Amarok. Or automount upon boot.

Yup, it is. Amarok still won't remember what's on it though.
