    Muon update manager failed!

    I just tried to update but it did not complete:

    linux-image-3.8.0-26-generic
    subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 2

    linux-image-extra-3.8.0-26-generic

    I will try running again. Hopefully it was just a fluke. Maybe it was because I closed my laptop lid. I figured I'd switch imputs on my tv and watch netflix via my PS3 while I waited. Mabey its another Linux power bug.

    I just tried again and got the same exact error message! I did not close the lid this time. Must be something else then.

    Just to remind users and devs that Ubuntu and its flavors have a long way to go to be as usr friendly as they should be.

    You can always open a console and try

    Code:
    sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
    If there are errors just post them here.
