13.04 and Skype

    Hello, last Skype version from Ubuntu repositories (or Skype site) should be working, but package "lib32stdc++6" must be installed first.
    It looks that there is broken dependency with Skype 4.1.0.20.0-0, but if you have installed 4.0.0.8-1 now all necessary dependencies should be installed already, so after upgrade to latest Skype version it should be working properly.

        Looks like it's working for me also. I'll need to connect with someone later to check everything, but it loaded and is running. Thanks for the tip.
        An old mainframer trying to get modern in his retirement.
