I just installed Kubuntu 13.04 on a spare laptop I own. The installation wen't fine, but if I close the lid on the machine, it does not seem to wake up the screen stays blank, the led by the power button just blinks intermittently. The laptop uses a Intel GMA 4500MHD as it's video card. I had this same problem with Ubuntu and Mint when I had the computer setup as a dual boot system (windows always worked fine). This is a fresh install of Kubuntu though with no other partitions for other operating systems. I'm wondering if anyone might be able to point me in the right direction towards fixing this computer.
