I just upgraded to 13.04, and now, when I plug in my headphones, nothing happens. No audio from the headphones, and audio keeps playing through the laptop speakers. I tried adding "options snd-hda-intel model=hp-dv5 enable_msi=1" to /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf, with no luck. /proc/asound/card0/codec#0 says that I have codec "IDT 92HD75B3X5".
