Trying to upgrade to 13.04, not having much luck

Ah, you need to upgrade that package to the fixed one. So first, run sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade, which will upgrade everything on your computer, including the broken release-upgrader package. Then you should be able to run the release-upgrader without problem.

Having problems with Kubuntu again. The upgrade process is really abysmal.

Dude, calm down. I was the one that started this thread. You'll find that if you have a problem, there are plenty of willing people that can help you resolve it. You just need to be patient. I recommend starting your own thread though.

I know. I started a new thread. Part of it, I think is the Muon application. I was trying to use it (so used to Synaptic).
