    well, I realized the bug results from a silly fact that the indicator only works when the status icons are presentt in the certain path of currently used theme folder...
    With the default Oxygen icons: Copying the /usr/share/icons/ubuntu-mono-dark/status/22/ svg's to the /usr/share/icons/default.kde4/22x22/status/ and the icon is there.
