Not sure what happened, but the menu buttons to logoff, restart, shutdown don't work. Have to reboot via
the terminal.
Can I "upgrade" the system by re-installing over the current partition ? or can this be fixed in here ?
oops...(solved)....rebooted via terminal and it started working again.
