kubuntu based pvr ,Display KDE Control Module pop up irritation

Since I upgraded to Kubuntu 12.10 the Display KDE Control Module pops up every time i bring the computer out of hibernation. as it is a pvr running xbmc it breaks the continuity of the system. Is there a way to disable the popup or tell the computer to all ways expect the same display output?

    hopefully relevant info.

gfx card nvidia 9600 gt running the nvidia proprietary drivers
toshiba lcd tv connected via dvi on gfx card to hdmi on the tv
    kubuntu 12.10

    Thanks

You can try going in to System Settings Monitor and Display, and from there configire the layout you like and set it as the default. I don't use hibernate on my XBMC box (now running on a netbook and LXDE) so I cannot verify this there, but using my laptop dock to connect to my external monitor, I do not get this after resuming from suspend, I don't enable the disabled-in-Ubunu hibernation as has been broken or buggy for me for some time, and never use it anyway.
