Has anybody installed this on Precise? If so, how is it working and what has the experience been like?

I paved my X1 the other day and installed Quantal alpha, which includes KDE 4.9 beta. It's working fine so far.

        Runs like a charm.
        No issues for me...

Okay, I just installed up after adding the ppa and doing a dist-upgrade. Not only is it running like a charm, but it seems to be quite a bit faster than 4.8.4.

Very happy with it so far. It has a couple of nice new features such as the file rename is now located in place on the highlighted file name. Also the volume control now produces a pop which changes level as the volume is changed.

The only negative aspect is related to NFS mounted files in the left panel "Places". When a file is mounted, it does not show the horizontal line under the NFS mounted file as the cursor is scrolled across it after going to another mounted file system. When it is mounted it does not show the amount of allocated space.

Only problem I ran into so far was with the netbook interface, the logout/quit widget showed up as unknown and had to be deleted and added again.
