    TVTime & Leadtek PVR 2000

I am using 12.04 and trying to install TVTime with a Leadtek PVR 2000 tuner/capture card. My cable signal is still analog and TVTime successfully scans for channels and displays video. I have no sound. The card works OK in Windows so there is a configuration issue I don't know how to solve. Anyone know how to track this problem down?

Never did figure out how to connect to the internal audio source. Entering tvtime -v in terminal showed TVTime was not able to connect to the mixer.

    tvtime --mixer=hw:0/CD

works if the Leadtek PVR 2000 card is connected to the CD audio plug on the motherboard. You can make a permanent change to the configuration with:

    kdesudo kate /etc/tvtime/tvtime.xml

Scroll down to the line that says <option name="MixerDevice" value="default/Line"/> and change value="default/Line" to value="hw:0/CD". The parameter is capitalization sensitive.

    This thread is solved.
