I guess Twitter just updated their API, and it seems Choqok 1.2, which is the version in 12.04, doesn't work with the new API. I've been wondering about this for a while now, but are there any other Qt-based Twitter apps worth looking at? Are there any others at all? Most pages I found via Google were a few years old, if not older, so it almost seems like KDE users don't have much choice, and I don't think I want to upgrade my Kubuntu version just to make Choqok work again. (Or bother with PPAs, to be completely honest.) Anyone know anything, or am I just stuck?

To my knowledge, Choqok is the only Qt-based Twitter app. The good news is that it will be fixed and be back soon: http://momeny.wordpress.com/2013/06/...ill-back-soon/

I used Pidgin for the longest time, then it stopped working with Twitter's new API. It looked great, worked great, let me have all my Twitter accounts running simultaneously (each in its own tab), had all sorts of bells and whistles...and now it's useless.Originally posted by Zeikcied View PostAny good GTK Twitter app that doesn't look awful in KDE?
ETA: I just found and installed Birdie, and so far it looks good. It's definitely WORKING with Twitter, so that's a good start.
ETA: And I just found and installed Polly, and it's better because it allows multiple, simultaneous Twitter accounts.
