    Using k3b-git with libk3b6-extracodecs

I am using the k3b-git package from KDE Goodies as I found it to be more stable then the official package. However, I need libk3b6-extracodecs for the rare times I burn aac to CD. So how can I add extra codec support for k3b-git? If I try to install libk3b6-extracodecs, it wants to remove k3b-git for stable k3b.

It's because k3b-git contains the files that are in libk3b6-extracodecs. Did you succesfully converted aac with regular k3b + libk3b6-extracodecs?

I didnt try converting per say. I tried burning a mixed files audio cd with a bunch of flac and a few aac files, but k3b kept crashing. I assumed it was the aac files crashing it but I will check the log now. I was in a hurry earlier and forgot to check it.

I would test it, but i have only mp3 and flac. I also noticed crashing with higher quality files that appear no more with git version:

Adding files worked fine. It was during the burn that problems arised. If memory serves me right, the problem happened in previous git build, the updated git build from earlier and even happened after a reboot. It spins the disk as if it is burning, and then just disappears with no crash message or anything but the drive is locked and I have to reboot or disconnect the sata power adapter and reconnect to regain access.
