    Are there backports in Pangolin?

When I run sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade in Terminal, I get this message.

W: Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ppa...-i386/Packages 404 Not Found

E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

That is the Kubuntu backports PPA, which at the moment has nothing built for Precise right now
as that PPA will have the next major KDE release in it after they are available and built for 12.10.
    Self-built: Asus PRIME B550M-K/Ryzen 5600GT/32Gb/Intel ARC B580 12Gb/KDE neon
    HP Elitedesk 800 G3 Mini: i5-7500T(35w)/32Gb/KDE Linux/Kubuntu LTS
    HP Chromebook 14: i5-1135G7/8Gb/512Gb SSD/KDE neon
