          Just to clarify:

          1. Only Kubuntu 12.04 D DVD iso is available
          2. releases 12.04.1 and 12.04.2 are not available on DVD

But, the DVD iso is most suitable ISO for Install and LiveDVD together from USB stick.

Is there any serious reason why the Kubuntu 12.04.2 DVD iso file is not available?

Sorry for that, I swore I saw the dvd iso in my link , but it is still for 12.04.0. I'll ask the devs about that.

So far I discovered that particular images needed to be requested by the *buntus to be built for .02. Kubuntu (and Xubuntu) did not do so, but I have not yet discovered why.

It seems they simply did not request one to be built. The dev I spoke to could not recall why, my speculation is that no one volunteered to test the dvd isos.

Hopefully this will not happen for 12.04.3; unfortunately that won't be here till August.
