Been trying to install 12.04 for the last....8 hours?? When I put the install disc in, I get the Kubuntu screen although it looks like the recovery screen, not the install screen. I hit enter to run Kubuntu and get a blank screen. Nothing else. Ive burnt three discs now at the slowest speeds possible so I dont think thats the issue. Could it be the nvidia drivers? Any way to fix this??

Run the LiveCD in safe graphics mode, or use the Alternate LiveCD (non-GUI) to install.Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007

Ive installed with the alternate install, but havent figured out how to resolve the graphics issues yet. Why on earth would they release an LTS iso file with a known buggy nvidia driver??Comment
