    can't launch Skype anymore!!!

    Hi,

I updated to 12.04 and I can't launch skype anymore!
On the shell I get this
    Code:
    reg@desktop-reg:~$ skype
skype: error while loading shared libraries: libXv.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
    and I did a
    Code:
    reg@desktop-reg:~$ apt-file search libXv.so.1
    libxv1: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libXv.so.1
    libxv1: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libXv.so.1.0.0
    libxv1-dbg: /usr/lib/debug/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libXv.so.1.0.0
and made sure that libxv1 and libxv1-dbg are installed but I keep getting the same error, why is that? What's going on?

    Thank you!

Skype is a 32-bit only application, so you'll need to install the libxv1:i386 package.
