Juniper Network Connect not working in Kubuntu 12.04

    Hi,

I'm trying to connect to my office network using Juniper Network Connect. I've all the pre-requisites installed (like JRE, etc.). Also I've 32-bit system.

But as soon as I start Network Connect, the JAVA applet that pops up crashes and the connection is lost.
Is there any one having similar problem.

Some where I read that, in one of the scripts of Network Connect, "_sudo=gksudo" should be replaced by "_sudo=kdesudo". But I didn't find the first said entry in any of the script.

Is anyone facing similar problem ?

P.S. So currently I've switched to Ubuntu where Network Connect is working perfectly...

Ah! My employer uses Juniper VPN, too. You will defintely want to make use of MadScientist's MSJNC session manager. The most recent update replaces the old Java UI with one written in Python. Java is still required for the actual connectin applet, however.
