Installing alternative Nvidia driver
I am running Kubuntu 12.04 with a Nvidia Geforce 6150SE video card. I think the correct driver is Nvidia 275.09.07 for what seems to be an out of date card. Can someone show me how to install this driver?

Correct driver is 304.43 which can be downloaded from Nvidia. -
No no, don't use their binary. It's better to use the one packaged by your operating system's distribution, because it includes any required pre- and post-install scripts.Originally posted by MatchpointOK View Post
