I purchased an MSI NF725GM-P43 motherboard at a very good price. I have been trying with out success to get the 5.1 surround sound to work. This motherboard (according to the manufacturer) has "jack sensing" which allows the front, rear, and center channels to work through the mic, line out, and line in ports. Is this capability software dependent? If so, does Kubuntu support this?
