    Kgpg cannot create key pair

    Hello everybody !

I have some problems with Kgpg. At the first run, it asks me to create a key pair. I enter my whole name, email and then my passphrase. The result is : impossible to create a key pair. It gives 2 errors :
    - gpg: -:2: invalid algorithm
    - gpg: -:8: missing colon
This is with the DSA & Elgamal algorithm. With RSA algorithm there is no problem.

    Any idea ? thanks

(kubuntu 12.04 64 bits up to date)

Don't know how helpful this will be, but I tried generating a key the same way with kgpg, and got the same error.

Looks like there is problem with kgpg.

Tried it with seahorse, and although seahorse behaves squirrely, it worked.

If you use thunderbird, might give enigmail a try, or else try it from the command line with gpg --gen-key itself.
