Latest Nvidia-current driver horrible
I am experiencing extreme lag issues with the latest Nvidia driver. I reverted back to the Nouveau driver since the last Nvidia driver update made my system very unusable. Some icons do not render at all, the panel does not completely render, and things take forever to load (or do not load at all). After awhile the system comes to a screeching halt. My graphics hardware accleration was fine up until the latest Nvidia update. I even tried the Nvdia-current-updates with the same results. Is anyone else having this problem? My graphics card (is onboard) is a NVIDIA GeForce® 7050. Thanks in advance.

Known issue. You can revert to an earlier binary.

This issue affected my desktop too. Very slow performance while using 3D efects. Then I had to enable xrander for make possible to use kde.Comment
