locale not set

I'm getting this any time I run apt:

perl: warning: Setting locale failed.
perl: warning: Please check that your locale settings:
	LANGUAGE = "en_US:en",
	LC_ALL = (unset),
	LANG = "en_US"
    are supported and installed on your system.
perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C").
perl: warning: Setting locale failed.

    are supported and installed on your system.

Would any one know how I can fix this?

K > System Settings > Locale > Country/Region & Language > Country

Is a Country showing, or does it show instead, No Country (Default Settings)?

If the latter, choose your Country and apply.

Thanks, I think reinstalling locales may have done the trick.
