Too many icons on desktop, can't see all of them

I don't have any icons on my desktop. But my wife's computer is totally cluttered with icons and she can never find what she is looking for, so my solution for her was an easy one, I just created folders on her desktop and move all of the similar icons into the appropriate folder. Pictures, Documents, Games, Links, and so forth.

Try the Folder View widget, or multiple ones. Or try setting the desktop to use folder view for the "classic" desktop, though I do not know if it scrolls like the widget does
