I receive an error message stating that there is a missing ID3 tag plugin when attempting to play any mp3 on any program. I have kubuntu-restricted-extras installed and checked for any id3 libs, but Im at a loss. If there is any further details needed. Let me know. Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: Unable to play mp3 dues to ID3 tag plugin
From DarkDuck's website, it appears you need to activate the Universe and Multiverse repositories, then install the codecs that Amarok prompts.

Re: Unable to play mp3 dues to ID3 tag plugin
I have the same issue.
Tried to install kubuntu-restricted-extras, cancelled home/.kde/share/apps/amarok/ folder and the following files:
home/.kde/share/config/amarok-appletsrc
home/.kde/share/config/amarok-homerc
home/.kde/share/config/amarokrc
but no success...
It is still asking me for a Id3 tag plug in.
