[RESOLVED] Help needed with small flag and hotkeys for changing languages

I have installed English and French.

I cannot find out how to install the cute little flags on the system tray for changing languages.

Also, in Natty, I somehow managed to define the meta (Windows) key as a hotkey for switching languages. Alt+Shift, as in WIndows, would be ok too. But I can't define either in System Settings > Shortcuts and Gestures. It insists on having another key too.

Supposedly, Vtl+Alt+K is the default, but that does not work. The keyboard remains the same.

What to do? Thanks in advance.

    Hi

Go to System settings > Hardware > Input Devices > Keyboard and select the Layouts tab.

Under Layout Indicator you can select the flag as opposed to the label.

Under Shortcuts for Switching Layout you have 3 levels of shortcut. For me only Alternative Shortcut has anything in it other than None: Ctrl+Alt+K as you said, it works for me.

Don't forget to apply the changes.
