Java Update?

I installed Java using:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ferramroberto/java
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jdk sun-java6-plugin

Based on the recommendations of this website

When I went to the Java testing website it said there is an update available for Java but I can't figure out how to do that...

java7 is out, that might be it, though you may not need to update it as 6 is still widely used.
