Can't install driver for Epson (it worked on Ubuntu)

    Hello.

I think there is something wrong with the installing software. I downloaded the driver for Epson TX220 from this link:
    http://linux.avasys.jp/drivers/lsb/e...sb3.2_i386.deb

It has always worked. At least, in Gnome and LXDE.
I decided to install Kubuntu (fresh install) and I don't find the way to install the package.

QApt says "Done", but it isn't installed because when I open it again, there is still the option to install it.

Same problem with the .deb for the scaner (that can be downloaded from: http://www.avasys.jp/lx-bin2/linux_e...do#productinfo ).

Is there another way to install packages in KDE?

    Thanks in advance.

    PS: I tried this:

    alan@Enlightenment:~/Paquetes/Driver Multifuncional Linux$ sudo dpkg -i driver.deb
    [sudo] password for alan:
(Reading database ... 135690 files and directories currently installed.)
    Preparing to replace epson-inkjet-printer-workforce-320-sx218 1.0.0-1lsb3.2 (using driver.deb) ...

    But nothing. =/

    Forget it. It's working now...

I had to restart and add a new printer from the Setting Panel.

From localhost:631 (in your web browser) I sent a test page and it worked.

Thanks guys. =D You must have scared it and it decided to obey.
