ca-certificates package unable to upgrade (solved)

There is an upgrade to the ca-certificates (amd64) package in the repos, but every time I try to upgrade it (with either muon or apt-get), I get an error saying:

"Unable to download the following packages:" and

    "Failed to download http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric/main ca-certificates amd64 20110502+nmu1ubuntu2
    403 Forbidden [IP: 91.189.92.170 80]"

    Any suggestions?

it also gums up libnss3, so if you might also need to reinstall it even if there is an update to ca-certs

Re: ca-certificates package unable to upgrade

I have on my system the latest (I think) it is ca-certificates_20110502+nmu1ubuntu3_amd64.deb and came in after I did a rebuild. Previously I had the ...nmu1ubuntu2... version and my Internet connection for both wired and wireless was totally broken after I did a reboot. I could only resolve it by doing a reinstall . I hope noone else went through the trouble that I had.

10 minutes ago package is on the repository again and installed correctly.
          Try upgrade again.

That might be troublesome if networking doesn't work (due to missing libraries), but of course one can manually download the relevant packages on another machine or using a livecd, and then perform the upgrade.

Anyway, the issue should be fixed now...so upgrading and reinstalling libnss3 package should avoid having to face the problems.
