Just check for available updates in my Kubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Alpha, and couldn't believe my eyes. The updater wants to do updates for EVERYTHING Gnome (gnome-session, gconf, etc.) plus install the Unity interface. What's up with that?

thats quite normal, actually, as many things change on a daily basis, things are broken and fixed and broken again
