Java 7 SDK in Kubuntu [SOLVED]

Has anybody installed the Java 7 SE SDK in Natty? Are there Apt packages for it or should I just download the tarball? Any known problems?

    Thanks

I doubt they are in natty, so unless someone has done it in a ppa, you will have to manually install it.

Re: Java 7 SDK in Kubuntu

Well, after doing some sleuthing, I found that there are some OpenJDK packages out there, at least until Oneric comes out with Java 7 in it standard. Here is the site: http://www.dlecan.com/archives/69-In...PA-method.html.

I installed using this approach, followed by Netbeans 7.0.1 and built and ran a test app and everything seems to work well.
