    Can't activate 11.04 desktop effects

    Hi!
I just installed Kubuntu 11.04 on my HP desktop.
It has an ATI Radeon 4650 graphics card and I installed propriety driver for it.
When I go to System settings>Desktop effects, the window is grey and I can't choose any effects.
There's a blue circle with an i in it and a text which says that the desktop effects are not in use due following technical proplems.
There is no list of proplems after the text or anything else.
Does anybody know what should I do?

you could try renaming your .kde folder in the your home directory. This will give you a fresh start, but you will have to optimize all the effects and settings you want again. Don't delete it, just rename it.

      OK!
      Will try that.
By the way, how do I log out of the Forum?
