Seamonkey 2.13 nobinonly is useless, and nvidia driver activated but not in use

    Hi,
    In 32 bit Kubuntu
seamonkey package will not run in Kubuntu, and crashes in ubuntu wih many websites including utube and amazon.
The Nvidia driver is no go, as it it activates but is not in use in both ubuntu and Kubuntu. This is with a new Nvidia PCIE card with 1 g of memory which should be more than capable.
The driver and module works fine in sid or unstable, as does the silly unbranded iceape package as debian has issues with both firefox and seamonkey branding.
I downloaded the Seamonkey 2.13 which is now updated to 2.14, so there is something bad in the compiled ubuntu packages

Nobody commented on the nvidia driver,
so that unity thing dominates , not KDE it seems
Maybe I'll try the unstable nvidia kernel and see what happens
This release is in a beta state still anyway.
And the Kubuntu/ubuntu developers do not look at forums it is beneath them!

Even with a latest Nvidia graphics card with 1.0 gig ddr3 ram,
still reports "driver activated but not in use"----, is this a false notification or time to give up.
There are barely any updates yet so back to Meerkat and wait a while.

            Thanx Overlord Telengard,
guess ubuntu/Kubuntu is so immense that is not worth posting in the forums, with it seems no developer input whatsoever, thus there are few answers as it uselessly rolls on.
Further bug reporting is so impersonal with as far as I can tell no feedback, perhaps I need a smaller distro, where the developers roll their sleeves up, and give some account of themselves.

The developers don't 'hang' here, and likely don't pop-in to see what's being said about problems. Filing bug reports in the appropriate milleu is what has to be done. And, not all reported bugs are determined to actually be bugs.
