I figured it out enough for myself. Thanks to a lot of other people doing the heavy lifting on this distro to make my small problem just that, a small problem.
Anyway, my firefox was busted after the upgrade. I posted the steps I took to fix it on my blog.
I didn't really fix it. I got rid of Firefox and put it back in. But, the bottom line is that it works now.
